Our Community Credit Union Announces Leadership Transition
On behalf of the Our Community Credit Union (OURCU) Board of Directors, the credit union announces the departure of President & CEO, Ryan Drake.
After a year of dedicated service as President & CEO, the OURCU Board of Directors has made the thoughtful and difficult decision to part ways with Ryan Drake. This decision reflects a shift in strategic goals and is not a result of any wrongdoing.
Please be assured that Member services remain uninterrupted and day-to-day operations will continue as normal. To ensure continuity during this transition, Bert Fisher, former President & CEO, has been appointed by the board as Interim CEO. Stephanie Steen, currently Chief Operations Officer (COO), will serve as Interim President. With nearly 40 years of combined tenure at OURCU, Fisher and Steen bring seasoned leadership and a deep commitment to the credit union’s mission. They will guide the organization while the Board conducts a comprehensive search for a new President & CEO.

The search for a new CEO will begin immediately, with the Board aiming to define a hiring timeline by the end of January 2025.
